Major Responsibilities:-

  • Writing good quality, creative, original content for online as well as print media.
  • Writing SEO-friendly content, content for newsletters, mailers, banners, brochures etc.
  • Editing and Proof reading editorial content like articles, blogs, product descriptions, social media content etc. for errors in structure, spelling, punctuation and overall grammar.
  • Adhering to style guidelines and making sure that all materials of communication match the given guidelines.
  • Recommending improvements in all editorial materials and ensuring that they are correct and as per brand specifications.
  • Check manuscripts and other items for readability, style, and agreement with editorial policy.
  • Writing for Social Media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn.

Job Profile/Skills Required:-

  • Ability to recognise and correct style errors. Rewriting and reframing content so that it reads well and gets the message across.
  • Must have relevant content writing/editing experience in the current and last job profiles.
  • A good team member with highly effective communication skills and an experience in copy editing.
  • A graduate in English / Journalism with an excellent vocabulary, grammar and proofreading skills.
  • Attention to details and research expertise.
